Phone-Free Day

Hey guys,

As we all know your Phone is a beloved companion. It is constantly by our side and always needed. What is it, that atracts us to our phones? I think, that there are a lot of things, but mainly it’s the internet. Yeah, texting, phoning and taking photos may be fun, but it’s nothing compared to the internet. You can practically do anything on the internet. Play games, find information, find friends and tweet about your lunch. I can’t even count, how many things the internet can provide.

So, yeah. We have come to the fact, that we all love the internet, and have to have it any place and any time. Sometimes, when I think about this, I feel quite sad. Memories of my childhood start to pop-up. I remember, that I didn’t even know, that such a thing existed. I miss it.

It would be so nice, if I had no knowledge of the internet. I would have more time to waste on things like riding a bike, rollerblading, reading books and so on. When I think about this, I think, that wouldn’t be wasting time. I’m wasting my time everyday, when I check Twitter, Instagram or even Facebook.

This brings down my mood a lot, but I know, that most people on Earth can’t live without it and I just one of many.

Because I can’t get rid of the internet in my life, I have made an adjustment in it. I will have a day in the week in which I won’t use any tehnologies. In that day I will try to be active and live my life, or even help people get of their phones. I will start out small, but I hope to grow in my resistance of the internet. Of course I won’t give it up. I have too inportant stuff here, like my Blog or my Youtube channel.

I hope I have inspired you to take a break from your phone or computer because I feel very inspired.

Goodbye for now,

Difficulties with Sleep

Hi guys,
I’m writing about the thing that I really love to do, but have a problem doing. It’s sleep.  Who doesn’t love to sleep, huh? I think everyone, but some people have trouble doing it. They’re called insomniacs. Insomnia, or sleeplessness, is a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired.
For me it’s not that bad. I have heard of people, who can’t fall asleep for days. I just can’t imagine how horrible that must be. I fall asleep very late or very early in the next day if I can say so. Sadly I have very light sleep too. Hope this doesn’t effect me so much, like doesn’t make me look like a gramma in my 30’s.
Even though I have problems with falling asleep, I love to sleep very much. It’s quite sad that I can’t sleep because it’s good for so many things like your health, your looks and your mood.
I have sleep deprivation often, but it gets better when I do these things.
💤 I read a book before sleep. It’s the only thing I do that calms me down. If I use the computer or my phone I become more awake.
💤 I try to do a lot during the day. Do you know the feeling when you fall asleep very fast after a long day? Of course you do. It’s magical. So if I want to sleep deeply I have to get myself as tired as I can. Sadly this doesn’t work very often because of me beeing very lazy.
Not sleeping in the right time turns me into a morning zombie, but that is just during school. After school I have this rush of energy. Luckily, when I have tennis training, I can put that energy towards something. Sadly, when I don’t have my training, I stick with the energy till like 2.00 a.m.
I know I should go running or something like that, but it’s too much work for me. Nor does counting sheep because who does that? I’m not proud of beeing this lazy, but that’s who I am. And it sometimes affects the thing most important to me – sleep.
How do you fall asleep, when you’re restless?

Wishing You the best,
Pat

My Dream

Hi guys, Today I’m going to tell You a little thing about myself that nobody knows. I’m completely obsessed with Youtube. I watch it almost every night, and sometimes in the mornings before going to school. I just uploaded my first Youtube video. I’m so exited. I have allways watched these people who make those awesome videos. I have allways admired them. And now I have made it myself. I have made this chanel to share with my personal experience and to complement my blog. In this chanel You will see colabs with other Youtube chanels and my friends that aren’t in Youtube, but mostly You will see me talking about the things that interest me the most. Sometimes it’s beauty, sometimes it’s fashion and sometimes it’s pranking my family. Here’s my first video! Hope You like it! 🙂

It’s about one of my favorite topics that I have made in my blog. This is a really powerful topic about my favorite element, but not in magical way. So I wanted to start with it because I really like it and it’s my most liked WordPress post.

For the millionth time..

And please don’t mind me looking half asleep. I’m not! Just didn’t know that You must look a little bit above the camera. So that’s that! Wishing You the best, Pat

4 Steps to Lose Anxiety before a Speach

image

Hey guys,
I know that this is completely off of my topic but I really wanted to talk to You about it, because I’m quite familiar with this topic.
I’m pretty anxious, especially before public speeches. They were just my worst nightmare. When I was a bit smaller, I sometimes was so stressed out that I even fainted. Can You believe this? Because now I can’t.
I really have grown from that and now I’m not afraid. Maybe my heart starts pounding a little bit faster, but that’s nothing compared to what was before.
I’m going to share these steps with You. Before I start I’m going to tell You that nobody told me what to do. I didn’t even think of checking Google. I developed them myself with a little help from the people around me.
Distract Yourself. This is what I do before the speech. You can do whatever You like. For instance You can listen to music, draw or read something if it can distract You. I personally listen to music. Of course not during Your class but before it.
Forget it. This one is kind of similar to the previous one, but it’s a bit different. Lately before a speech I just chat with my friends or something. Just as if I won’t have to talk to a crowd of people the next minute.
Don’t rehearse right before the speech. If You know the text You don’t have a reason to rehearse it. It will just stress You out more. It will maybe make You performe worse. But if You don’t know the text than You’re probably screwed.
Pretend You’re going on a roller-coster. I know this one sounds pretty stupid but it works. All You have to do is pretend that the speech is so exiting like a big roller-coster. This is a thing my English teacher told me. Stress before a speach is similar to exitement before a ride. It’s true, guys! But one is fear and the other one – happiness. Buy the base fealing is the same.
I know it’s quite hard but You have to let go of the fear and just float. I know that at first it’s not going to happen. You won’t get rid of the anxiety overnight but with the practice of letting go You may get there like I did. I just discovered one day that I’m not afraid anymore. It was wierd. And then I thought about what did I do, and that’s how this post was made.
I hope I have helped some people. Even if I helped one person with his anxiety before a speech that would just make my day.
How do You fight with anxiety before a speech?
Wishing You the best,

My Way of Staying Fit

image

Hey guys,
If you’re anything like me You aren’t sporty at all, but still want to be.  That includes

⚪ Not beeing too exited about the gym,
⚪ Starting fitness projects and never finishing them,
⚪ Laying in bed, when ever You get the chance,
⚪ And all the other lazy things.
If You are still reading, You’re not really lucky, are You? Isn’t it just sad to see those sixpacks? For me it is, because I know that I’m never going to get one. That doesn’t matter that much to me, but I want to stay fit and healthy, because I want to keep my body image quite good.
So here are the things I do to keep me in shape. (Promise, nothing too dramatic)
💪 Going for walk. This one I really like, because I kind of like walking. I think it’s better to go on a walk with a dog, because he/she will motivate You to get up. It is that simple, but the bed sounds like a  much better option. If You aren’t that motivated Yourself, I suggest You get a dog.
💪 Signing up for classes. I have tennis training twice a week, and it’s like something I just have to do. I’m going to try to add yoga next year, because it sounds just perfect. I think, that classes are better than going to the gym, because at the gym nobody checks if You’re actually there.
💪 Stretching while reading or watching a movie. This one sounds just terrible, but it is actually quite good. You don’t have to stretch for all of the movie. It’s good even if You just do it just through the beginning. After the stretch it’s much more relaxing to continue to watch the movie or read.
These are the things I do. Of course I don’t do it all the time (exept for the trainings), but it’s very good to do these little things once in while.
I think I would do something more heavy, but my body cant just handle that much. It isn’t naturally made for exhaustion of the sporty kind. I get pretty sick if I try too much.
So I don’t do a lot, but I’m happy for the things, that I do. And I hope You are too.
What do You do to stay fit?

Wishing You the best,
Pat

For the millionth time..

Hello,

I know this is one of the things You have read in every beauty site, in every health site and in everything human body related. At least I have. The thing is, that You have to drink water. A lot, actually. I think, that this is one of the steps everybody skips with a good ”Yeah, yeah, I know”, because it is literally everywhere. Have You noticed this?

Only in the past days I have noticed, how this step is almost the only step You need. I though, why not to drink eight glasses of water a day. Why not? I did it for a week. (After that I drank like five or six glasses.) Didn’t want to, actually. I had to go a lot to the toilet that week. But it was worth it, when I noticed how much healthier I look. From my glowing complection, to more clear skin, and no circles under my eyes. I don’t know, why it suprised me so much, but I was suprised. Maybe because everybody says it so much, that I have grown to ignore it. But now, when I have seen how important it really is, I will definitely live by it.
So it is easier to drink a lot of water, I found myself a plan when to drink it. I didn’t make it myself, because I’m not an expert in hydration.

So I drink the water:

1) After waking up

2) Before meals

3) Before a shower

4) After training

5) Before sleeping

And it’s always good to pop in a lemon, especially in the morning. That will help You wake up. And it tastes so good.
So I hope, that You will join me in this, because it will help you. Do this with me and You will se results right away!
Wishing You the best,
Pat
